Safety and responsibility

As a participant, you should be able to trust that your information is protected and that you are treated well. Here is what applies and where to turn if something is not right.

Your information in the service

When you take part in Prepare and Match (Rusta och matcha) with us, Swefleet AB is the data controller for the information we process about you in the service. This follows from the terms that Arbetsförmedlingen, the Swedish Public Employment Service, sets for providers. We must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swedish data protection rules.

The terms also require us to have procedures for how the information is handled, that our staff know the rules on personal data and that only those who need it can access your information.

You have the same rights as described in our privacy policy. For example, you can find out what information we hold about you, have errors corrected and ask us to delete information, unless a law prevents it.

What we report to Arbetsförmedlingen

As a provider, we must document the service and submit information to Arbetsförmedlingen in accordance with its regulations (AFFS 2023:1). This includes your attendance and absence in the activities. If you cannot come to a meeting: let us know in advance.

Confidentiality

Everyone who works in the service is bound by confidentiality under 4 § lagen (2000:625) om den arbetsmarknadspolitiska verksamheten (the Swedish act on labour market policy activities). We may not tell others about your personal circumstances. The duty of confidentiality also applies to anyone who has stopped working for us.

Under the terms, each person must receive written information about the duty of confidentiality and confirm it in writing no later than when they start working on the assignment. If someone outside asks for information about you, we refer them to Arbetsförmedlingen, which considers the request.

Safe meetings

Arbetsförmedlingen sets requirements for where and how we meet:

  • Individual meetings must be possible to hold in a separate room with a door that can be closed.
  • All meetings must take place in a way that protects your privacy and maintains confidentiality.
  • Remote meetings are held on Arbetsförmedlingen’s secure video meeting platform, which works on a computer, phone and tablet.
  • The premises must be accessible to you if you have a disability, with an accessible toilet that has an alarm.

If you need any adjustments for the meetings, feel free to tell us in advance.

Respect and equal treatment

Discrimination against job seekers is prohibited under diskrimineringslagen (the Swedish Discrimination Act, 2 kap. 9 §). As a provider, we must have a policy for gender equality and equal opportunities, and guidelines against victimisation, harassment and sexual harassment among participants. Women, men and non-binary people must be given the same opportunities to take part.

Violence in close relationships

All staff who meet participants must have completed Arbetsförmedlingen’s online course on violence in close relationships and honour-related violence and oppression before they meet participants. The course covers how to talk about violence and where to refer people for help, support and protection. You can always raise it with your coach. If you are in immediate danger: call 112.

If something is not right

Talk to your coach or to us directly, on 010-880 05 65 or info@swefleet.se. Arbetsförmedlingen requires us to have procedures for receiving complaints and feedback from participants and to improve our services based on them.

You can also give feedback directly to Arbetsförmedlingen via the form Synpunkt på våra leverantörer (feedback on our providers), anonymously if you wish. Arbetsförmedlingen assesses whether to investigate the matter, and if it finds shortcomings, it requires the provider to correct them.

If it concerns how we handle your personal data, you can also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se. If you want to change provider, contact Arbetsförmedlingen.

Insurance

As a participant in a labour market policy programme, you are covered by personal injury insurance and group life insurance with the provider or employer that Arbetsförmedlingen has referred you to. The insurance does not cover damage to your own belongings, unless it is connected to a personal injury, and does not cover accidents in your free time.

As a provider, we must also have business insurance including liability insurance throughout the contract period.

Arbetsförmedlingen follows up on us

Arbetsförmedlingen follows up all providers’ results, participants’ ratings and shortcomings that have led to sanctions, and reports this openly so that you can compare providers before you choose. A provider that does not meet the requirements can have its contract terminated. You can find us with KA number 10075681 (Arbetsförmedlingen, opens in a new window) in Search for providers.
