Arbetsförmedlingen assesses whether Prepare and Match is right for you and makes the decision.

Your first meeting with us
We meet at the office, go through your background and goals and make a plan together.

Meetings every other week
An individual meeting every fourteen days, at the office at least every four weeks. Between meetings we work towards your goal.
We speak your language
You can get coaching in Swedish, Arabic, English, Persian, Turkish, Somali, Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian. Without an interpreter, so nothing gets lost along the way.

What is Prepare and Match?
A support programme from Arbetsförmedlingen for people who have been registered as job seekers for a long time. You choose a provider, for example Swefleet, who helps you on your way to work or studies. Arbetsförmedlingen decides whether you can take part.
How do I choose Swefleet?
Search for Swefleet in Arbetsförmedlingen’s service Search for providers and make your choice on My Pages. You have five working days after the decision. If you contact Arbetsförmedlingen instead, give them our KA number 10075681.
What does it cost?
Nothing. You pay nothing to take part. In the meantime you can apply for compensation from Försäkringskassan, for example activity support.
How long does Prepare and Match last?
Six months. Arbetsförmedlingen can extend it by at most six more months, so twelve months at the most.
How often do we meet?
You have an individual meeting with your coach every fourteen days, and at least every four weeks you meet at the office. The first meeting is always at the office.
Do I need to speak Swedish?
No. You can get coaching in Swedish, Arabic, English, Persian, Turkish, Somali, Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian.
Applying for Swedish citizenship?
Since 6 June 2026, most people who apply for citizenship need to pass a test in civics. We work with Medborgarskapskursen, an online course with lessons and practice questions for the test, in Swedish and English.
